LAUSD has the worst fields and anyone with kids that play sports know that is more likely to get hurt playing on those fields. They take thousands to over pay the people on top but can’t fix the fields and invest on school with better conditions I’m glad they are suing.

leave LAUSD alone they can't even afford to run their own schools. it's very sad they lost their kid but the district isn't at fault they did not force him to execute that tackle. if it was the coach then come for him specifically for his lack or awareness not the district

It’s sad they loss their family member but why would the parent allow him to play after the first concussion. Football as we all know is such a dangerous sport. That’s the last sport I would allow any of my kids to play. What they suffer as adults is horrible as well

I think its a money grab and a bunch of BS for them to try and get rich off their child playing and dying from a contact sport. If you're going to allow your children to play these sports in school, you run the risk of them being hurt. The school or school district shouldn't be held responsible unless they did something negligent!
