Acutely, Architect's are engineers, just that young one or designer are not. Where a real Architect that goes experience required and all the education and pass all the exams , then they become the engineers, just far better. Many times Architect's (real ones) correct engineers or resolve problems that the engineer can't figure out. in the industry this is a constant thing. Why do we need engineers then!!! they cost far less than than an Architect. Hire the architect first, engineer will just work for them

I hate this analogy. The “disconnect” most architects have from structural engineering is whether a beam should be 16” deep or 20” deep. This kind of “oversight” only occurs in school. This is not a professional practice problem

HOW EVER... For me, that building POSIBLE to design and built AS like what architect want without any improvement or any change in structire. Not only at "steel structure" term, ALSO at reinforcement concrete structure term. 🤔

It’s like that in printing though. A constant struggle between Graphic Designer and Print shop. Graphic designer wants it to appear a certain way visually, but forget that their project needs printed, 😅 RGB color vs CMYK ink

We had a job with some cantilever beams sticking oit of the building, it was gonna be a really had job, that day the architect showed up just to see how are we gonna do it. I wanted to punch him in the face!!🙄🙄🙄

If that's the engineers solution to the architectural design.....I dont want that engineer on the project... And if that architectural designer couldn't think his way through how to cantilever a roof line. I don't want the architectural designer or architect anywhere near my project.
