This is what I've learned by 52. Honesty is a turn off for people. My realness reflects their phoneyness. My friend of 30 yrs, I spoke to her privately about her alcoholism. She has been in denial for yrs, hiding it, making excuses. I told her I was concerned . She ghosted me and never spoke to me again. Then and there I realized people dont want truth. They want the fake. When you have nothing to offer them thats when you find out who your friends are. I've found I have none. It's ok I will say the uncomfortable thing. IVE BEEN ALONE SO LONG I DONT EVEN UNDERSTAND PEOPLE ANY MORE. I CANT WEAR THE FAKE MASK OF SHALLOW CONVERSATIONS, THE FAKE INTERACTIONS. I JUST CANT.
