@theblondemuslim: I’ve checked so many times and today was finally the day! Have you guys seen this before? Idk if I’m late to the game but this was my first time to see it at @costco Context for anyone overseas who doesn’t understand why this is important: We normally have to drive all the way across town to shop at the Arabic market to get halal meats. Every town in America is different, but for many of us — it means you have to go to multiple stores to do grocery shopping. I know for my bestie who has several kids, going 45 mins across town is quite the trek to get the meat so it’s become time consuming for her to do every week. So being able to stop at stores closer to your house is a big convenience. Idk if it’s a one time thing or if it was just my lucky day. Lmk what town you’re in if you’ve seen it! And I know the other side of the coin is we’re supporting mega stores instead of local markets. Either way — the goal is to eat halal meat, so I’m so glad that it’s becoming more available to us as Muslims in America… alhamdulillah In a world where it’s so easy to do the wrong thing, Im glad that doing the right thing is becoming more accessible 🤲🏼✨🥩 #halal #halalmeat #americanmuslim #alhamdulillah
