I went to a Disney wedding. July 3rd, years ago. after the ceremony we were bussed to Epcot, walked in from an employee gate then went to the reception in the America building. it was truly magical. it was around 4pm so we got a lot of stares from people just doing Epcot 🤣

Great advice! I had the Escape Package through Disney (10 years ago!) Trusted them and they took care of everything! Photographer, music, flowers, transportation….made it so easy.

I got married at The Grand Californian in 2018, the wedding planner and coordinator had zero problems setting out my table numbers, my champagne glasses, my wedding favors etc and those were all items I had brought in myself and not through them. I wonder if it's that I got married so long ago, or that it was the California parks vers, the Florida parks? they also broke so many rules for us, let us take photos in downtown Disney without written permission beforehand etc.

this is amazing as a former wedding sales manager, a current catering manager if I could share this with all of my couples to understand our operation, it would reduce stress and confusion, and the understanding of what our rules are

As a CSM this is interesting to me that they won’t place personal items. I work at a 230 rm hotel, 6k sq ft ballroom and we do the sales>planner>bqt mgr thing too. I’m there on wedding day though as the planner.

My sister got married last week in Disney. It was absolutely beautiful and magical. We all changed shoes lol. She made sure she told everyone like 20 times bring walking shoes lol
