@home.with.isa: The best Banana bread I’ve ever made🍞 🍌 Ingredients 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 1 1/4 cups mashed very ripe bananas, about 3 medium bananas 1/2 cup pumpkin purée 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled 1/4 cup vegetable or canola oil 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar 1 large egg, at room temperature 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Brown sugar for topping Instructions Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×4-inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray or line it with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until mostly smooth. Add the pumpkin purée, melted butter, and oil and stir until combined. Add the brown sugar, egg, and vanilla and stir until smooth. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and gently stir just until combined. Be careful not to overmix. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle with turbinado sugar. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs. If the top is browning too quickly, loosely cover it with foil. Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before removing it and transferring it to a wire rack. #bananabreadrecipe #recipeideas #fallbaking
