Exactly the point I asked a group of people from the Baptist church. Asked them if they believe that God disqualifies people based on gender? When they answered “of course not”, I brought up how they treat women in the home and in leadership in the church. They cited Timothy and Titus but conveniently left out Deborah, Priscilla, Phoebe or the Priesthood of Believers or Galatians 3:28.

You confuse me. I’m the one hand you seem to have determined that God does not exist and that the Bible is invalid because of all of the mistakes and the nonsensical statements and fantastical stories that don’t add up in logic like Job’s story for various reasons and the flood etc but then you post things like this which is you rationalizing how the bible should be interpreted. This is inconsistent, either the bible is valid or it isn’t. If not valid then how to correctly interpret it is moot.

Brother if you’re going to go this route you must be called out. Liberal progressive Christian’s whole system is based on this. Tell me with a straight face that they got the idea that God supports LGBTQ from an honest unbiased read of the bible. Don’t act like you can.
