The victim told officers that a brown or beige Saturn with a younger female driver had struck his vehicle and left without stopping to check for injuries or exchange information. After confirming that the victim wanted to press charges, an officer located a woman nearby who he believed had been driving the suspect vehicle. The victim provided a statement under oath and confirmed that the other driver had not stopped or contacted police after the crash. When officers confronted the woman, she initially claimed that someone else had hit her. However, officers told her that she was being identified as the driver involved in the hit-and-run.
