Okay so I reviewed Gruns gummies and here is my HONEST take. I appreciate what they are doing. Truly. Packing nutrients into a gummy format is genuinely impressive and I respect the mission. But I am not going to sit here and tell you it tastes like a fruit snack. Every time I see someone say they CRAVE these and eat them daily like candy I just, I don’t know if I believe that. And kids that love them? Maybe. But also maybe those kids have never had a Haribo in their life. There is still that green gummy aftertaste. You know the one. And this is not a Gruns problem specifically. This is a culture thing. We have somehow convinced ourselves that a healthy milkshake tastes JUST like a milkshake. That a nutrient gummy tastes JUST like a fruit snack. And I think we all secretly know it does not. I am not saying stop eating healthy alternatives. I am saying we can appreciate something WITHOUT pretending it is something it is not. Just my opinion. I could be wrong. Maybe my taste buds are broken. Are you a Gruns fan or do you agree with me?
