@juleshomestead: Update on Huck! 9 days ago Huck had a seizure that he didn’t fully recover from. We took him to two emergency centres to get him treatment, and then followed up with our local vet. I’m so thankful to all the vets who took the time to see Huck and come up with plans to help him get better. There was a point last week when we thought we’d have to put him down because his condition seemed so poorly, but our vets were determined to help him improve and their treatment plans worked! He’s been on several medications, he gets different pills six times a day at the moment while he’s still recovering, but it’s all working and I couldn’t be more grateful that he’s come this far already. We’re also still waiting for bluebell to have her babies any day but super thankful that she waited for Huck to get through the worst of his condition so that I didn’t have to tend to both animals at the same time 😂 Thank you to everyone who commented and messaged me with kind words and hopeful prayers for Huck to get better, I’m forever grateful for this community that rallied behind his recovery and went out of their way to help me feel better during his worst week ❤️ #Huckthelgd #lgd #homestead #farmlife #homesteading
