when i was first reading these books, my good friend told me “you remind me so much of Nesta”, and at first i was offended and was like ewwww, what do you mean?! got deeper into them and now it’s a comment that’ll never leave me. 🥹♥️

Nesta gets so much hate because there was no finality to her development at the end of ACOSF. I think we’re so accustomed to characters coming full circle in books, but the point of Nesta is that she is still a work in progress and has so much room to grow still. Love or hate her she’s a representation of so many people.

It’s always the same reason “oh she’s too rude.” “Oh, she didn’t help Feyre” but many people forget that she was also a child dealing with her life being destroyed. And many of those don’t deal with this kind of life-changing trauma the way that it’s supposed to be pretty. she’s flawed and acknowledge that and she tries to be better.
