It exists in my family. My brother is the golden child. My father treats him like he is everything and that I shouldn't even exist. For a long time it bothered me. Especially as a kid watching my brother open these awesome gifts while I got a few cruddy ones. But I pushed him out of my life and it feels like a dark cloud lifted. For the longest time I let my dad make me feel bad at every holiday and every family gathering. Not anymore! I hope you find peace Amy. I know it is not easy.

I needed this 🥹🥹🥺🥺 I don’t think I’ve ever truly and fully grieved a lot of things in my life…so there are days that all of those things come flooding in at the same damn time and I barely function beyond my bed, the bathroom and the kitchen. It sucks!! I hold it in so can function most days. 🤝🏻🤝🏻🤝🏻 🫂🫂🫂💐💐

I feel this so much. Both of my parents are gone and my one brother died in December and I’m not contact with the other…that first year is hard, especially when you’re learning how to be on your own. Sending so much love
