On top of a music career that spawned such timeless classics as "Jolene," "9 to 5," and "I Will Always Love You," Parton engaged in a highly successful acting career that saw her parts in '9 to 5' (for which she got a Golden Globe nomination), 'The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas,' and 'Steel Magnolias.'
