It’s YOUR PLACE OF ENCOUNTER — where heaven meets earth in your life. It’s where you and God meet consistently. HERE ARE 5 WAYS TO BUILD IT: 1. CHOOSE A CONSISTENT PLACE 📍 _Genesis 12:8 — “There he built an altar to the Lord... and called on the name of the Lord.”_ Pick a spot. Your bedroom corner, prayer closet, early morning chair. It doesn’t have to be fancy. It just has to be YOURS. Consistency creates momentum in the spirit. 2. BUILD IT WITH THE WORD 📖 _Joshua 1:8_ Your altar is fed by Scripture. - Have a Bible, journal, and pen there - Declare scriptures over your life - Pray the Word back to God The Word is the firewood. Without it, the fire goes out. 3. BUILD IT WITH PRAISE & WORSHIP 🎶 _Psalm 22:3 — “God inhabits the praises of His people”_ Start every prayer time with worship. Thanksgiving invites God’s presence. Don’t rush to ask. First, adore Him. That’s what makes it an *altar* and not just a wish list. 4. BUILD IT WITH SACRIFICE 🔥 _Romans 12:1 — “Present your bodies as a living sacrifice”_ An altar costs something: - TIME — Wake up 30 mins early - DISTRACTIONS — Phone on silent - YOUR WILL — Surrender your plans Sacrifice is what makes God answer by fire. _1 Kings 18:38_ 5.
