Can't believe that kids larp this hard jjk. Even though Gojo's overpowered nature clearly caused massive writing headaches for Gege, and he literally had to get nerfed through forced domain limits and plot devices because Gojo is actually the strongest, everyone needs to realize the truth. Yes, Sukuna is the main villain, but Gojo is stronger. 'Yes but sukuna won because of plot!' yeah he did by gege making him win because he's the final boss. And how can't people understand how HORRIBLE of a writing would be if the narrative didn't need to nerf the strongest? The battle is poetic, gojo gave his all and still lost. Why? Because sukuna is the ceiling of the belief that power is everything. Sukuna isn't a name, it's a title. Had gojo won, he'd have become Ryomen Sukuna by spirit, the ideology that sukuna believes in (that strength is all that matters and only the strongest can rule) would remain true. Instead it took the strongest sorcerer of the modern age, another sorcerer from the past and the entire gauntlet of today's sorcerers all to defeat him. Why does that matter? Because it proved that yuji's ideology that together in numbers you can overcome all challenges directly conflicted and shattered sukuna's. Anyone who disagrees hasn't properly read the manga from cover to cover, doesn't have average levels of understanding or both. Gojo was meant to lose because not only did it free him from the burden of being the strongest and in a way a loner (shown as how in the afterlife part with geto he was back in his teen self when he wasn't the strongest yet and so was back on equal footing with others) but it led to the younger generation to fight their own fights and they won because they fought for themselves

Tbf if we do go from an aura perspective, gojo mogs him in shinjuku 😭 sukuna proudly states its a 3 v 1, screams for mahoraga, gets knocked out, is stated to be nervous in the fight, gojo has a constant smile on his face and he does not, and at the end of the fight sukuna leaves with a crispy husk of a body with one arm and one eye while gojo even though deads body is still largely intact apart from the wound in his middle so much so that he could actively be used again as a body for yuta

The fight was a fair fight but if we actually look at the whole fight gojo was dominating and it proved as he killed maharaga and agito and had sukana on 1 hp but he got cocky and turned his back on sukuna and died but if it wasn’t for his arrogance he would have won
