She paid $30 for the humanoid from Tau Robotics to complete one hour of work. “Over the hour it made my bed, cleaned my bathroom, and vacuumed. The robot was teleoperated by a Tau Robotics operator, it was not running autonomously,” she said. While the robot was “slower than a person would have been,” the woman said it did a “solid job” and she did not have to redo any of its work afterwards.
