To be fair mate I've worked with lead paint (removal by shotbalsting) and lads would get lead in their bloodstream and it does eventually kill you We had to change ppe after every shift and had blood tests to see the lead levels after a few months on site If the levels were high we had to ve removed from site until the levels dropped so I think the ban was more for the workers who have to remove it before re-painting 👍
