i feel like people have been far too harsh on carla. like yes i get possibly disliking the live performance or liking the official version more but you have to imagine how hard it would be to sing AND play violin in front of THOUSANDS of people without messing up even once

i remember seeing someone comment that the live performance had messed up lines and a lot of out of breath moments but as someone whos a not at all professional singer, they honestly made me expect the worst. sure, a mixup on "come let me play/dont run away" and saying last of kin instead of next of kin, but those are pretty small, and it never seemed as though she was too out of breath. amazing performance imo love this song
