Kryptonite this, kryptonite that. People keep forgetting superman is very intelligent. If he truly wanted to he has the strength to destroy the earth beneath batman, laser him to oblivion, drown him rubble, lift the plane beneath him and fly upwards too quick for batman’s physical reflexes to react and carry him out of the stratosphere. Theres so many creative ways Superman can kill batman. Not to mention he can literally lobotomize batman from a distance. Batman is heavily carried by plot in almost every comic. Theres literally a comic where batman fought superman with kryptonite weapons and batman still got no diffed. Batman literally turned everyone including himself into doomsday just to beat him. Most overglazed character in fiction.
