@natasharose267: 1836 Steakhouse is easily one of my favorite places to eat in Huntsville. The restaurant is inside a beautiful old house that has been converted into such a unique, cozy space, and I especially love sitting upstairs in the bar area. The food is consistently excellent and always feels fresh and well prepared. I love that they rotate the risotto flavors, so there is usually something different to try, and their steaks are wonderful. They also have a great wine selection, which makes it an easy place to sit, relax, and actually enjoy dinner instead of feeling rushed. And I have to mention the bartender upstairs — she is absolutely amazing. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and honestly one of the reasons I enjoy sitting at the bar so much. Great atmosphere, great food, great wine, and genuinely great service. Definitely one of those Huntsville places I keep going back to.
