@blametheairline: Before you blame the airline… ask yourself this: Did you book through a third-party site and expect the airline to fix an issue with money we never received? This episode breaks down what happens when you book through a third-party travel site, like Trivago, and your reservation or payment doesn’t appear in the airline’s system. The airline may be the one you’re contacting, but if Trivago took your money and handled the booking, they’re the ones who need to help resolve the issue. We can’t refund, change, or fix a reservation we never received payment for or don’t have control over. Before booking, know who you’re buying from. Save your confirmation details. And when something goes wrong, contact the company that took your money first. Booking Third party for international 😩😩😩 I had someone stranded because they booked it incorrectly and we couldn’t touch it.

Luckily, I have never had a problem using those third-party sites. But yes, always book through the airline directly.
