Agree 100%! When it comes to that stuff I’m more comfortable with a female doctor. That’s like a woman being a doctor for men’s testicles 😂 it’s possible but I’m sure men wouldn’t be thrilled about going to her. Also, Endocrinologist are a bit better than just a regular gynecologist when it comes to issues with periods, gut health etc.

I agree with them studying our hormones and deep study into the female body but I do prefer a man only because I notice they listen better to my issue bcuz they never had it

You’re absolutely correct. First of all, women’s bodies and anatomy have not been studied as extensively or for as long as they should have been. Even today, our understanding and medical guidelines continue to change because new research keeps showing us things we didn’t know before. There’s always another study explaining why women experience certain symptoms, pain, hormonal changes, or conditions differently. I do appreciate the men in medicine who genuinely want to understand women’s bodies and take the time to listen to us. But at the same time, it’s kind of strange to me when some men completely dismiss or fail to understand why our bodies change, why we experience certain types of pain, or how different our biological experiences can be when they obviously can’t personally relate to those experiences. I understand that they’re doctors and are trained to understand anatomy, but that doesn’t mean we know everything yet. Women’s anatomy and physiology still need to be studied much more thoroughly.

I feel that on being a woman! I’m waiting an extra month and a half for an appointment because that’s the soonest availability for a woman, which is annoying, but I didn’t want to go see a man for an issue with my female parts
