I think this idea is pure ass. It’s moronic to write half of dc’s best heroes out the story from the beginning by having them be 60 year old retirees by 2026. Why not start the universe with the classic silver age justice league lineup and then organically introduce legacy characters like Wally west and Kyle rayner? The DC universe literally has the perfect way to let the universe continue after the original actors of these heroes want to leave, but instead we’re starting with legacy characters? Part of the appeal of legacy characters is watching them grow into being their own heroes and grappling with the legacy of their mentors.

thats a cool theory but gunn has repeatedly said that there hasn't been a justice league yet. thats exactly why certain characters were retconned into the peacemaker s1 finale to replace the justice league. however, the jsa should have existed. theres the mural in superman that pretty much confirms it, even though there hasn't been explicit confirmation.

Yea I don’t like it but I actually have said similar but I thought maybe Hal Barry Oliver Dinah Aquaman but also Batman and Wonder Woman since we know Batman is on his fourth Robin and fought dr phosphorus in 2000s so he might have been young guy of team but this also has us have the og 5 teen titans which there movie is coming before justice league movie
