Heat oil in a pot and sauté the whole spices. Add the sliced onion and cook until translucent. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste, then add the yogurt, green chilies, and green chili pickle. Add the cooked beef and cook until the oil separates. Pour in the reserved yakhni, season with salt, and bring to a boil. Add the soaked basmati rice and cook until the water is almost absorbed. Drizzle with kewra essence mixed with food color, top with fried onions, cover, and cook on dum for 15 minutes over low heat.
