I agree 100%. But where I don’t agree is on “if someone is a fan of a designer, he should by the real thing”. Virgil was asked in an interview about is opinion on reps and if it has to be made by him to be considered Off white. He responded that it doesn’t need to be made by him to be off white, and the he actually loved them because they are the best feedback, and that if someone else can make the same thing and be also make it work ( meaning that the design was so well made that, other people would buy the rep). He said that it’s not taking anything away from him but in the contrary it’s free advertising for Off White. I believe that fashion is something that should elevate a person and make them feel comfortable and confident. The brand / designer made their money and the reps don’t eat their profits. The only person that ends ups losing are the resellers. At the end of the day buy whatever makes you happy and don’t try to pass it on as real or sell them as real.

I feel like reps are ight if they're high quality and you wear the shit out of them. And like unless the designer are like small or aren't part of some conglomerate fuck em idt they'll be affected by someone buying reps, hell the reps might people buy their real products. But like yeah if you're over consuming and buying like 10kg hauls you have a problem.
