the wristbands are for guaranteed early entry. you could get there at 5:30 but you’ll queue behind everyone that has a wristband.

on their site it says “GA ticket holders who choose not to participate in Priority Entry should enter at the Chase C Entrance, located on 33rd Street & 8th Avenue once doors open at 7:00pm. This is the ONLY entrance you may access with a GA ticket.” so it seems like if you don’t get the priority wristband you won’t be able to enter until doors open at 7.

Usually you get wristbands at 11 with the sequential numbers and then at 5:30 you re-line up in that order so you’ll go in after those people with sequential numbered bands

If your general admission and don’t get a wristband you show up and then they’ll give you a Madison Square Garden one just not a number one so you’ll lose a place in line you’ll just be pushed further to the back

Wristband doesn’t do much they just hold you in the msg theater and walk you out at doors like I fear if you just get there at doors you’ll be fine.

If you don’t get a wristband, doors are at 7pm. Priority entry gets in at 6:30, they have to show up at 5:30 to put themselves in order. Honestly unless you want to be barricade and not move from your spot, not worth it
