People don’t understand that these accusers don’t really believe these women are men by their looks, they accuse them of being men when they don’t fall in line with their white misogynistic expectations. If they are ‘controversial’ in theirs eyes, to punish them, they will strip them of their womanhood.

Hey so it can be both transphobia and misogynoir. discrimination can overlap! People consistently masculinize women of color due to racism and not fitting into a narrow minded idea of womanhood and femininity , not even all white women are protected from this but since your focus is on black women/women of color I’ll focus on that. By policing trans women’s womanhood and femininity you are effectively reinforcing the same structures in place used to masculine black women/women of color, there is no set way to be a woman because all women have their own intersection of varying identities and that will give each a unique experience and connection to their womanhood. By removing these restrictions on trans women you remove it for cis women as well. To free a certain kind of women from this you have to free all women from this standard of womanhood otherwise the structures in place to reinforce this rigid system of womanhood will affect other women that aren’t deemed woman enough
