I own this, Oud Zarian and Royal Tobacco. I’d say this has that Sauvage DNA heart but it totally does riff on both of those others. Fantastic release 👌

Ok, I sampled it for a day and went back the next day and bought it. My first Sauvage ever, I get Royal Tobacco a ton with it. It’s FK’s best Dior I feel at them moment.

I think the Sauvage Extrait and RT share the liquorice opening but RT drys down a lot sweeter and vanillic for me, whereas SE goes very dry and woody. I really like SE, its very addictive. the late dry down is a bit meh but that's probably 14hrs later 😄

I get a sense that this new Extrait was designed to rekindle interest in the line from people like me who were initially enticed by the first launch back in 2015. The EDT made such an impact I couldn't help but join its ranks. It garnered compliments and sometimes it didn't. I bought the Parfum and then the Elixir, but both bottles have remained largely untouched, to be honest. Even if it is quite interesting, the Extrait is way too expensive for most people's budgets these days. Still, I fell again 🫨

I actually enjoy the boldness in the new extrait. For me it is og Sauvage+incense+oud and a little hint of Amouage royal tobacco! Solid drop from Dior😬
