I saw someone say 'do you want another baby or do you just want another chance at your first'. I dont want another baby, I want my first but without being in fight or flight the whole time. Pictures and videos show me how cute and adorable he was but my lived reality overshadowed that at the time.

When I see pictures of my daughter as a newborn, I cry because I was miserable the entire time she was a newborn, and I wish I could go back and enjoy it now

The newborn phase sucked hot, wet ass, and I didn't enjoy a single second of it, thanks to PPD and PPA. I'm loving the toddler phase, though.

i had colic and reflux baby. first time mum, my husband worked a lot and baby woke like 6-7 times a night. severely sleep deprived, depressed with no village whatsoever. i can not remember because i was focused on surviving rather than making memories. my baby is 3 years old. it does get better but i can only remember something if i look on pictures i took

Started not with the postpartum phase but during my pregnancy. Grief runs so deep I decided I didn’t want anymore children. Can’t stress this enough who you have a child(ren) with is important.
