The line at the end "too strong for sports, too weak for the military," is a demonstrable exhibit of the MAGA slide into Fascism. A lot of the Nationalism of Fascism is about creating this idea of an enemy who is simultaneously something that is horrifically terrifying, but also weak and insignificant. It's the same rhetoric spewed by the Reich about the Jews.
