C3 makes for a great daily once you accept that you don’t have a trunk, swap the engine for a newer EFI, take out the four speed, and a quick whole IRS. Oh and fix the rust on the bird cage helps too

I got a 77 corvette when I turned 18, I paid $8500 and I ended putting probably another 10-15k into it in 2 years just in repairs and minor upgrades. It's also not very fast, comfortable, or practical. It is a terrible daily. I didn't even have a trunk. I still love the car, but I would probably never get another one

For 3 years my daily was a 1964 F100. The last 6 months or so the starter was fucked so I had to plan trips around pop starting it.

dont feel to bad i recommend all my car homies buy a b5 audi and this is the 3rd time ive had the trans out in 1 year of ownership, but man for a 1k$ car ive daily driven for a year i wouldn't trade it for anything
