The worst feeling is realizing you have to let go of someone you love, not because the love is gone but because staying costs you too much of yourself. It's choosing your peace over your feelings, your growth over your attachment, and your future over your comfort. Your heart wants to hold on, but deep down you know letting go is the only way you don't lose who you are, and that's what makes it hurt so much.

And when trying to heal don’t think about whether he’s feeling the same hurt as you, if he’s also sad or just so happy you’ve left. Also don’t think that you’re the one losing out, or you’ve lost. Letting go will hit real hard but you’ll move on from it, it would be history and when you see them you’ll wonder if they’re that person you thought you couldn’t live without. Healing takes time but it happens, and the result is always so much better than staying just to endure and hurt over and again. May all of us heal💕

The hardest thing I have done was to stay with someone who I know doesn’t love or care about me just because I wanted to be loved so bad but at the end of the day I still got hurt so I kept lying to myself he was going to love me right one day but that never happened I had to walk away because I knew I deserved better

Letting go is not easy 😔, but I have to, because my mental health is at stake. Sometimes, choosing peace means walking away from what you love, even when it hurts. I’m learning to accept what I cannot change, release what no longer serves me, and choose myself. Healing may take time, but I know I deserve peace, happiness, and a life free from constant emotional pain. 🤍🙏🏽
