my sibling has focal seizures, and this is definitely quite similar to theirs. theirs are nocturnal (meaning they only happen in their sleep), so theyre a little different, but many parts are very similar from an outside perspective. they dont really remember their seizures, so I cant really ask them if this is similar in their opinion 😅 but ive witnessed hundreds of their seizures atp, so I think have a fairly good idea of what happens during them 🤷. the mouth movements, that unfocused look in your eyes, the sort of stuttering noises, not being able to speak, not having much awareness of what's going on around you (if any), and how it can seem to stop and then start back up. all of those are things they regularly would experience during theirs as well. (sorry for the yap, just wanted to share to hopefully give you some reassurance that you are likely not wrong. I hope you find a doctor who will listen to you, as a fellow disabled person ik how hard it can be when you know something is wrong and no one will listen. you deserve help and relief, I really hope you get it.)

My mum has epilepsy and this is extremely similar to her focal seizures, she sometimes even screams during them. If i were to compare this to non-epileptic attacks this definitely looks a lot more like this epileptic ones. They’re very scary and I hope you find someone that will listen in the medical field! Im also in the north east so I know the struggle of the NHS here 😥❤️
