Friend of mine worked at Dolly's Dixie stampede in Branson, Missouri. He worked in the kitchen and during one performance he wandered around back to the stables were a few horses were still there as he was petting one of the horses he saw someone walk up out of the corner of his eye It was Dolly Parton, All by herself. He proceed to have a lovely 10 minute conversation. He told me later that he thought she was the sweetest kindest, nicest person, just like her personality in public. he thought she was probably the nicest person in the whole world. And I have to agree.

Dolly was the OG for being an advocate for the LGBTQIA community. Dolly was inclusive of everyone. Dolly was a true Christian who spoke and taught love through her words, music, and her action, she walked the walk. Especially being from TN and being one of the biggest country music stars ever, she stood up for everyone and didn’t care two hoots what anyone thought. A true legend for so many reasons.
