As a nanny, bedtime can be chaotic. But if your pet you love so much is lost, you can spare 10 minutes of bedtime. Imagine it was your dog that got out, you saw him running down the street but the kids have to go to sleep so you’ll find him later, Right?

Yeahhhh, I don’t know, girl. 1) nothing would have stopped me from immediately looking where the dog was barking and 2) I never laid down with my kid. I tucked her in and left.
