I’m a brain surgeon. Nerd out with me for 60 seconds about how math, neuroscience, and scripture work together to help you stop quitting everything and start winning more in your life. There’s a concept in math called an ergodic system. It basically says: if there’s any real chance, even a small one, of getting from where you are to where you want to be, and you keep taking that shot over and over, the odds of you never getting there eventually collapse to zero. Enough reps, and the outcome becomes almost inevitable. Your brain works the same way. Every time you rehearse a thought, calm instead of panic, truth instead of the lie, one more try instead of quitting, you’re strengthening that neural pathway. You’re not just hoping it’ll stick. You’re stacking repetitions in a system that’s mathematically built to reward repetition. And scripture said this first. Galatians 6:9: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” That’s not a coincidence. That’s God building a universe where math, brain science, and His word all agree on the same principle: don’t quit. The first commandment of self-brain surgery is that I must relentlessly refuse to participate in my own demise. Quitting might feel like relief right now, but it’s not actually relief, it’s just a vote for a future you don’t want. Every time you don’t quit, you’re casting a vote for the future you do want, and eventually those votes win. I’m your friend Dr. Lee Warren, hopefully your favorite Internet brain surgeon. Share this with a friend who needs to put some ones on the board in their life. And save this for the next time you feel like giving up. Hit that follow button, and let’s build a better brain together.
