Really important distinction! I feel like people misinterpret that the preference for moss poles is because they won’t size up on a plank but in reality, it’ll size up on either stabilizer, but moss poles are essentially to ensure the cuttings are ready to pot up as soon as you take top cuts!

ok but once you chop it once the roots are rooted into the pole what do you do? how do you repot it if there aren't any roots at the base of the stem

New here! Do you have a post showing how you set up your moss poles? I have a satin and variegated pothos I need to upgrade from standard pots but am clueless where to start. I’d prefer they vine up so they’re not as prone to my pets damaging them 😅

Sometimes I water my base pot. Mostly it is enough when I water the moss pole. The water that is to much goes in the base pot anyway.
