@ndleabachistate0022: NDLEA BAUCHI STATE COMMANDER VOWS TO INTENSIFY CRACKDOWN ON DRUG DEALERS The Commander of the NDLEA Bauchi State Command, CN Hassan Yaqub, has vowed to pursue and bring to justice anyone involved in illicit drug activities across the state. He made the commitment following the successful arrest, seizure and prosecution of Muhammadu Rabi’u, a 35-year-old who was arrested in possession of 107.5 kg of freshly cultivated Cannabis sativa recovered from his farm at Gishak village in Bogoro Local Government Area of the state. CN Yaqub reiterated that there would be no safe haven for drug dealers in Bauchi, stressing that the Command will continue to intensify its intelligence-led operations, surveillance, arrests, seizures and prosecutions of drug offenders. He further warned those involved in the cultivation, possession, trafficking or distribution of illicit drugs to desist or face the full weight of the law.
