because you said you feel guilty: it's hyper vigilance, common with narcissistic abuse ... staying busy feels like a way to prevent negative outcomes or criticism... your nervous system is in a constant state of alertness, spiking your cortisol... never feel guilty about taking time off, especially if your employer offers PTO... if you feel this way at home, maybe home is no longer safe.
