I’m glad you’re not automatically assuming autism on him. Some babies just need extra help. Currently the same thing with my almost 2 year old. Just needs a little extra help reaching those milestones. 🫶🏼

You got this mama same with my son he got diagnosed with autism when he was 3 because he used to be none verbal now he’s 6 years old no signs of autism and doing amazing

Is he in speech therapy, occupational therapy or infant development? I have my son doing all 3. I’m doing it through the Regional Center. My son just turned 2 in June. He’s been having his services since April. It has definitely helped him with his development. Some stuff he will grow out of and some stuff he will need help with. You got this momma! You’re doing amazing. ☺️

I just want you to know that I experienced the same issues with my now 5 year old. He now talks my ear off and loves to eat! Hang in there mama. We did 3 years of all the therapy’s and no longer need them. He’s officially on level with his peers. He had sensory processing disorder,global development delay and a speech delay.

My baby boy acts the same way and he’s 15 months old 🥲 what were the signs for you? My son does everything your son does and doesn’t respond to his name but he knows commands like “no” or “ven aqui”

He is so cute! I read he is only 16 months .. so I am wondering does he make eye contact? And does he follow directions? I am asking bc my nephew shows same signs and we are on the process of evaluations and a diagnosis he is 22 months and just started speech last week. At what age did he start his therapies? Is he having feeding therapy as well?

Just noticed he’s 16 months old and I’d like to share that my son had only 1 word for the longest time and was such a picky eater (still can be) and would literally throw his food on the floor. I spoon fed him so he complied but there wasn’t food he’d request or eat on his own. At age two, he had about 15 words, maybe less, but he started speech therapy and everything started coming in! Though he still won’t eat all foods, the range is wayyyyy bigger and he’s now forming 3 to 5 words sentences. He’s still so young, some babies bloom a bit later😌🙏🏻

my son is 22 months and he’s currently receiving speech therapy and special instruction. he was just referred to an autism evaluation center and might be receiving aba therapy. i know it’s hard, but we got this 🩵✨ with time and patience and work, our babies will be able to communicate by talking and do a lot more! my son used to say mama but regressed, so it’s definitely taken a toll on me. but you’re doing so well 🤗🩵✨

ur boys doing amazing! my sons almost 3 and doesn't know how to eat with a spoon (no delays) he is LITERALLY just spoiled. [okay, maybe I worded it wrong, he knows how to use a spoon, he just refuses to lol.....your boy is doing amazing, great job Mama!!!
