I have had a BPD diagnosis since 2001. in 2020 I was also diagnosed schizophrenic but I honestly think they got the schizophrenic part wrong and my hallucinations etc are just BPD symptoms

Hallucinations, I see shadow people, but also… please let me know if it’s the same for other people, for example if something was on the table in front of you like a remote control or a cup, my brain can see it moving slowly, but if I blink hard or rub my eyes I see it hasn’t moved at all, but then it can do it again moments later 😳.

Yeah I get all that , it’s weird seeing someone else feel the exact same way , you think it’s just you , my shadow people are having a good game with me this past week , I even talk to them 🤷🏼♀️

the bugs thing was the worst when i had a full on episode- i once hallucinated tons of tiny bugs crawling up my legs for two hours STRAIGHT. i was convinced i could see them and feel them. turns out. nah. just bpd

Also for my diagnosed BPD folks, if you don’t have a few of these symptoms it doesn’t mean your diagnosis is fake/ misdiagnosed 🫶 that’s something I panic about a lot
