Of all people, Romney hit the nail on the head during the 2012 election that Russia is our biggest geopolitical foe and it still holds true today. Trump is definitely exerting pressure on Russia with our involvement in all of the other Russian dependent countries. Great analysis.

I honestly can’t see the Ukraine war ending without Putin at least gaining something. The people in his own government won’t let him keep power if he admits defeat and the people of Russia probably won’t either (although they let him get away with a lot so who knows)
