@madpas.tattoo: Today, I’m using two reference images for my design: a skull and a morning star. First, I roughly trace both subjects onto tracing paper. Then I arrange them into a dynamic composition, making it look as if the morning star is smashing into the skull and breaking it apart. Once I’m happy with the composition, I place a sheet of 100 gsm tracing paper on top and create the clean linework with fineliners.
