That’s just normal governance. Why do we think normal governance that actually serves the citizenry is some kind of radical thing? That’s how little we’ve been given that’s how long we’ve had our services shrink to nothing. When I was a kid in the 70s, I went to New York with my mom a lot and we always had working elevators and they were always overseen by the state. There is a seal in the elevator from the state showing it was inspected, and it is safe.
