Darcie was in her final weeks when my son was diagnosed with a rare disease and it completely rocked our world. My son’s condition is totally different, but watching that beautiful girl had a colossal impact on me in holding on to the infinite value of every single child’s life no matter how long we have them on this earth. She made me treasure whatever life will look like with my son, and my other two kids as well.

I miss little Darcie 💗🦋 so much, took me days to stop crying when I heard she passed away. I can’t even imagine that her little family is going through right now. I pray that one day there will be cure for EB or at least something that will relieve the symptoms of this disease. No child should ever have to suffer like Darcie did. Laura you are doing an amazing thing for families that are struggling with EB, and as much as I can only imagine the effects this has on you mentally and physically, I’m glad your willing to keep fighting. I think I can speak for all of Darcie’s community, where right here fighting with you. ❤️💗🦋

Darcie was so loved by people all over the world. Seeing and hearing about the trauma Darcie and her family had to deal with is heartbreaking. I pray for her sweet family for comfort. I pray that there is treatment and a cure soon so other families are spared.

I too am still in shock about sweet Darcie. Miss seeing Her smile and listening to Her babbling stories. I hope they are doing as good as they can be during this time.
