I saw a video of someone who had the books from her childhood and now her own baby has them in her nursery. I thought that was a really sweet way of carrying o the memory of Dolly’s gift

As a little girl, I remember my favorite time of the month was receiving my very own “mail” and she singlehandily built my book collection and love for books. My daughter just recieved her final one as she is now aged out, but I will forever be grateful as we do story time every night, for Dolly herself. 💗

I’m in the UK and when my kids were in primary school they got free books from Dollys imagination library, she touched children’s literacy outside of America too, such a heartbreaking loss to us all but she’s back in the arms of her beloved husband 🥰
