i quit 4 years ago. before that i was only happy when i drank so my kids associated alcohol with mommy being playful and silly… so happy i quit when they were still tiny.

yeeeep, I started counting my Dad's drinks in elementary school. Started confronting him about it at 13. He didn't stop until I was 22.

See now the history of alcoholism in my family is literally a large part of why I am mostly sober these days. Let’s all stop drinking in front of our kids. I beg of you.
