@realnatberman2: I stopped putting an expiration date on the things I want. I don’t need it all to happen tomorrow. I just need to keep showing up long enough to actually find out what happens when I refuse to quit on myself. Here’s what I used to get wrong. I treated timelines like proof. If it hadn’t happened by the date I set in my head, I took that as evidence it wasn’t coming at all. So I’d quit right before the version of me who kept going would have found out what was actually possible. Might take two years. Might take ten. Either way, I’m not stopping until my life actually looks like the one I promised myself back when nobody else believed it was realistic. Nobody tells you that the waiting isn’t wasted. It’s the actual work. It’s where the version of you capable of holding what you’re asking for gets built, quietly, without an audience, without applause. So the vision stays exactly the same. What changes is how long I’m willing to give it before I decide it’s real. And the answer now is as long as it takes. The timeline can change a hundred times. The vision never does. Comment the word “BETTER” and give yourself 90 days, one rep a day, one dollar a month, building the habits that compound into results. Inspired by @kennedygmullins’s video on refusing to put an expiration date on your dreams.
