My boss stood over me in my cube once and reported me to HR for inappropriate attire. She could see down my shirt because she was over me. I went to HR and told them I had been trying to get our insurance to approve a reduction for years to no avail and if they write me up I would absolutely be suing for discrimination. It was never brought up again. But how ridiculous to even have to deal with that.

When I was 13 I was constantly being sent to the principles office for dress code issues. One day all 4 friends on mine all wore the same outfit. All the parents knew, including my father. I was the only one sent to the office. I asked to call my dad, he came in blazing. “Show me how her outfit is inappropriate, we measured it this morning and made sure there were no violations” the principle said to him that it was my body type in the outfit and it was distracting so I should wear something different: he responded with “are you jealous of a 13 year olds body because I’m about to go to the school board if I get another fkn phone call”.

I’m HR at my role and younger then everyone in the office so I make damn sure that I am dressed properly. I wore a shirt (turtleneck) that was more form fitting and a random 60 year old told the entire office that I was dressed inappropriately. It is enraging especially when every inch of my body is covered and there is nothing I can due about my boob size.
