hammer curls arent really for your biceps, they are for the brachioradialus mostly, african curl is literally just a hammer curl and a bicep curl in rotation 🤷 spider curl and preacher curls are def 100% effective because they force the bicep to work on its own without momentum or help from other muscles, however, preacher curls can be dangerous if you lockout the elbows after each rep, or dont have support to prevent the weight from stretching the bicep tendon too far, id imagine tho that with lighter weights, the risk of injury is highly unlikely, still yet, you wont see me doing preacher curls
